Holders of Slovak, Hungarian, Polish and Slovenian documents can used them in the Czech Republic directly, without the need to submit a certificate of recognition of foreign higher education. The certificate of equivalence of diplomas issued by universities in the Czech Republic is not required for the purposes of admission to study at universities.
Unlike university diplomas (degrees), secondary education certificates are validated by the Prague City Council.
Documents translated to Czech language are needed. As this process might be difficult to do from your home – the faculties can issue an pre-acceptance letter for you and it will be your task to do after your arrival.
Fee for validation by Prague City Council: CZK 1000
