In support of student mobility, the rector of CTU in Prague announced a system for scholarships for foreign students coming to study a Master study programme and for foreign doctoral students.
Students of CTU can apply for a scholarship after completing the first semester of their master study programme. The scholarship is awarded ocasionally and on the basis of very good study records from previous semesters. Successful applicants receive a monthly grant, and the amount may vary up to CZK 10 000 per month. Applicants apply to the Vice-Dean for International Relations of the faculty at which they are studying. The decision is made by the faculty.
The scholarship is intended for foreign doctoral students who are capable of doing scientific work and studying on a doctoral programme in English language at CTU in Prague, and who display qualities that entitle them to the award of this scholarship. The scholarship covers the basic scholarship awarded to students of doctoral study progammes and living costs in an amount up to CZK 16 000 per month.
